A highly skilled/technical engineer in the field of power system engineering: with experience ranging from distribution design (<33kV) to transmission planning (275 & 400kV). My experience has led me to become a professional Chartered engineer, who is able to handle different situations in multi-disciplines. I am motivated technically and commercially to come up with new innovative ideas to address challenging problems. By the use of my engineering knowledge and skill; I have become a specialist within the field of power systems engineering.

My experience in the field of electrical power system engineering involves distribution/transmission planning, system analysis, project management, new business connections, and substation design.

This includes analysing & planning innovative reinforcements to the Distribution/Transmission network. A personal highlight for me is the development of strategic plans for the connection of large volumes of renewable generation to the transmission grid (>25GW). I have also been fortunate to analyse the effect of integrating HVDC technologies to the grid.

This has enabled me to be specialized in the field of PS analysis including loadflow sensitivities, OPF, SCOPF, voltage stability, fault levels and angular stability. My ambition is to continue to grow as a specialized engineer, and to integrate renewable energy to the grid which is of particularly significance for every industry; especially at a time in the current climate in where energy has become a strategic issue for the country’s future and economical welfare.
