Description
A simple course for brand new basketball referees to the West Diablo CYO Youth Basketball program. This is a youth league in the Walnut Creek area in California. West Diablo CYO uses NFHS rules with several modifications based on age group and skill level. It uses 10-minute running clock periods, and games are officiated to the level of the players. The focus is on:
- participation,
- skill-development and
- the players enjoying fellowship and fun playing the game of basketball.
