Nothing Without Indomitable will-power
Description
Why Security Is Needed For WordPress?.
I will give a real example to explain it.
Everyone has a house. Why are doors given to everyone’s home? Because – strangers can’t enter the house to go. Then, Why do we put a wall around the house? The reason is that no one can enter the house and steal.
In short, we give the door to the house so that we can stay safe. Even then we give the wall so that we can have more safety. Even then we install CCTV cameras in our house so that we can monitor the whole house.
Similarly, every website is a virtual home, shop, workplace, etc on the Internet. So even there, virtual thief means black hat hackers can hack any website. So, if you want to protect the website from being hacked, you have to ensure the security of the website. It doesn’t matter what kind of website it is
Remember, Nothing is 100% Secure. If Government websites can be hacked, then so can yours.
NOTE: According to the official WordPress Stats page, Now, over 55% of WordPress users are still on PHP 5 or lower. But now, the latest version of PHP is 8. If you combine this with PHP 8.0, a whopping 77.5% of users are currently using PHP versions that is no longer supported. That is scary!
